New Mexico is about to enter perhaps its nicest season – fall. The colors are more vivid, the high desert more enchanting. That’s why Delta Air Lines' latest discount airfare sale is so brilliantly timed. The nation’s third-largest airline is selling seats to Albuquerque beginning at $89, one-way.
This sale is from a trio of select cities only, all of them Delta hubs: Atlanta (ATL), Cincinnati (CVG), and Salt Lake City (SLC). The one-way discount airfare from those hubs, respectively: $209, $209, and $89.
All these discount airfares are one-way, but you’ll have to make a round-trip purchase to get them. Neither taxes nor fees are included. These discount airfares entail a full 21-day advance purchase, and you’ll have to stay over at least two nights to qualify.
Purchase one of these sojourns no later than September 30, and complete your trip by December 12 – before the Christmas holiday crush. There are some key blackout dates, and — as you might imagine — they’re clustered around Thanksgiving (November 20, 21, 24, or 26).
Some Cheapflights' suggestions for visiting New Mexico: get off the plane in Albuquerque and head north, to Santa Fe. It’s the cultural epicenter of the state with music, arts, ambience and more. Golf courses are there for the playing too.
