Air Canada Jazz adds more flights

Air Canada Jazz has announced that more flights will be operating on its routes to Saskatchewan as part of an expansion of its non-stop service.

New jet aircraft have been added on routes from Toronto to Saskatoon and Toronto to Regina, which the airline promises offer "superior comfort" for passengers.

Four daily non-stop flights will run on the Saskatoon-Toronto route this winter, while three daily non-stop flights will operate on the Regina-Toronto route.

Shorter travel time has been promised on these routes as a result, with shared circle flights stopping off at Regina or Saskatoon on the way no longer in operation.

The new CRJ-705 jets come with leather seating and offer 34 inches of legroom in coach, which Air Canada says is two inches more than that offered by other Canadian carriers.

"We know our customers appreciate the choice and convenience of more non-stop flights," said Ben Smith, Air Canada's vice president for network planning at Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz.

"The addition of new jet aircraft to the Air Canada Jazz fleet allows us to deploy the right aircraft to meet travel demand, while offering more frequency and superior comfort for our customers in Saskatchewan."

Air Canada Jazz is Air Canada's regional airline, serving a number of destinations across Canada and the US.
