JetBlue named best domestic airline
JetBlue has been named America's best domestic airline by this year's Conde Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards.
It is the fourth consecutive year that the six-year old New York based airline has won the award.
JetBlue chief executive officer David Neeleman said he was honored to receive the award. "We look forward to bringing the JetBlue experience, and the dedicated service of our 9,000 crew members to new cities in 2006 and beyond," he said.
In recent weeks JetBlue has gone on a major route expansion, adding numerous flights from its home in New York to several new destinations, particularly in Florida.
Currently JetBlue flies to 33 destinations in 14 states, as well as offering international service to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.
