JetBlue voted top for customer satisfaction and value
JetBlue Airways has been voted the top domestic airline in the US for customer satisfaction and value for cost.
Winning the categories in the Conde Nast Traveler's 2005 Business Travel Awards, the low-cost airline also came top for onboard products and services.
Conde Nast Traveler commented that no other domestic airline even came close to competing with JetBlue Airways in this regard.
JetBlue offers passengers a choice of 36 channels of television programming as well as a selection of movies on board. It is also to start offering 100 radio channels later this year.
The approval rating is good news for JetBlue, which was quick to point out that in only six years of operations it has won the top two categories four times.
JetBlue is based at New York's John F Kennedy airport and currently services 32 destinations in 13 states. It is adding new routes this month from Newark, New Jersey to destinations in Florida including Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Fort Myers.
