Southwest signs deal with LasVegas.com

Discount airline Southwest has announced that it has signed a deal with LasVegas.com, a website for Las Vegas tourists.

The agreement makes Southwest Airlines the exclusive provider of vacation packages booked through the website.

Rich Basen, vice president and general manager of Southwest Vacations, said: "This is an exciting opportunity for us to reach travelers in a new way and further establish ourselves as the leading choice for vacation packages to Las Vegas."

Sin City is Southwest's largest operation, with more than 200 flights every day.

With the deal, the airline will also become one of the city's largest vacation providers.

Southwest offers vacation packages to many other cities in the United States, which include accommodation, car rental and entertainment.
