Caribbean Star Airlines to expand its schedule

CaribbeanDiscount airline Caribbean Star has announced plans to expand its fleet and flight schedule.

The Antigua-based airline intends to buy three new planes and add as many as three new routes.

Currently the airline flies to 14 Caribbean islands including St Maarten, St Lucia and Barbados.

General manager of Caribbean Star, Frankie Francois, says the new destinations are likely to be Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. Exact details will be revealed later.

Other possible destinations could be major islands such as Jamaica and Martinique, or possibly a route to the lucrative market of the United States.
