Mexicana adds new American route

Mexicana Airlines has announced that it will soon fly between its hub in Mexico City and Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

The route is scheduled to begin on December 1, 2005 and will fly every day.

Chief executive officer of Mexicana, Emilio Romano, was excited about the new route, saying it had much to offer all kinds of travelers.

He said: "This is an historic moment for us and we are honored to be a bridge between our capital regions and their governmental, cultural, commercial, educational and scientific institutions."

The flight is scheduled to leave Mexico City at 5:40pm and arrive at Baltimore-Washington at 10:55 pm. It will return to Mexico City from Baltimore-Washington at 8:00am and arrive at 11:55am.
