Delta expands summer schedule
Cheap flight fans planning a summer vacation now have more routes to choose from as Delta Air Lines has unveiled a range of new summertime services.
The plans include new routes from Boston to Charleston and Boston to Quebec – Delta's first service to the Canadian city. The Charleston flights will begin on June 8, while passengers will be able to jet to Quebec with Delta from June 15. Tickets for both routes are available immediately via the Delta website.
The Charleston service will operate daily, departing Boston at 8.30am and arriving in Charleston at 10.53am. A quick turnaround sees the return flight leave at 11.30am and touch down back in Boston at 1.43pm.
Passengers on the Quebec flight meanwhile can depart Boston daily at 11.10am and land in Canada at 12.30pm. In the other direction flights will leave at 1.00pm and arrive in Boston at 1.20pm.
From June 8 and June 12 respectively, Delta will also start operating nonstop daily services from Cincinnati to the glaciers of Anchorage and the hiking and biking trails of Traverse City, Michigan.
Delta's new summer vacation line-up is completed by flights from Atlanta to Bangor and Traverse City, and from Hartford to Las Vegas, all of which will begin operating by June 17.
