Hourly Calgary connections

Air Canada plans to field hourly service from Calgary International Airport (YYC) to both Vancouver International (YVR) and Edmonton International (YEA) airports.

From July 3, Air Canada will loft 18 flights each business day between Calgary and Vancouver, and 19 flights each day between Calgary and Edmonton.

The frequency boost is made possible by the addition of new Embraer-175 and Embraer-190 regional jets to the Air Canada fleet. These regional jets are significantly larger than the RJs fliers may be accustomed to, and include Executive Class as well as Hospitality Class (coach) service.

Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz lay claim to operating more nonstop flights within Canada, and to the United States, than any other airline. Within Canada itself this summer, they will operate more than 1,066 nonstop flights per day on more than 130 routes to and from 60 Canadian cities. Between Canada and the United States, Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz will offer in excess of 416 nonstops each day on 76 routes to and from 48 U.S. and seven Canadian airports.
