The Cheap Flights Weekly Roundup

It's mainly new routes and service expansions in this week's roundup ranging from short domestic trips to a couple of new intercontinental services.

JAL increases Chicago to Tokyo The first of the long-haul services comes from Japan Airlines and takes the form of an extra four weekly round-trips taking its total number of flights between the two cities to 14.

JFK to Ghana doubles North American Airlines meanwhile plans to add a second weekly round-trip service between New York and the African city of Accra from June 3.

Cheyenne to Denver increases At the other end of the scale, Great Lakes Airlines has added a sixth 35-minute flight between Cheyenne and Denver International Airport.

United unveils summer service United Airlines has announced 15 new summertime routes from five key airports - Chicago O'Hare, Denver International, Honolulu International, Los Angeles International and Washington Dulles.

Horizon's Portland to Reno service Horizon Air will begin flying from Portland International Airport to Reno on April 3.

Southwest's $49 fares Finally, just sneaking into this week's roundup is a host of discounted fares from Southwest, ranging from $49 to $159.
