Wine if you want extra Delta air miles

Members of Delta Air Lines’ SkyMiles frequent flier program are being offered extra air miles when they join or gift membership a number of Vinesse wine clubs.

Jeff Robinson, managing director of the SkyMiles program, explained: "By giving or receiving Vinesse's high-quality wine throughout the year, members will receive a considerable amount of miles toward their next Award Travel vacation."

To qualify for the extra miles, SkyMiles members must first join one of the following Vinesse clubs: American Cellars Wine Club, California Treasures Wine Club, The World of Wine Wine Club, Elevant Society Wine Club, Four Seasons Wine Club or Light and Sweet Club.

Members will then receive 100 miles per bottle purchased and a further five miles for each dollar spent on club merchandise through Vinesse.com/delta.

Enrolment miles are also up for grabs but will be credited only after the customer's first paid shipment.

To qualify for the free air miles, SkyMiles members must provide their frequent flier number at the time of purchase.
