AirTran adds to Chicago services
Two new nonstop destinations have been added to AirTran Airways' daily service schedule from Chicago's Midway International Airport (MDW): Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
The low-cost airline will operate three daily flights to Dallas/Fort Worth International and two to North Carolina's Charlotte Douglas International to increase passengers' options during the travel season this summer.
"Our airline has a commitment to provide Chicagoans with high quality service at everyday low fares," commented Kevin Healy, AirTran's Vice President of Planning.
"Business travelers have been asking for more service to popular business hubs and we are proud to offer these two new nonstop destinations."
Flights depart Chicago Midway for Dallas/Fort Worth at 9.55am, 3.50pm, and 6.35pm. Return flights take off from the Texas airport at 7.00am, 12.55pm, and 6.40pm. Flight duration is typically around two hours, 20 minutes.
The two daily Charlotte flights leave Chicago at 9.20am and 6.55pm. Return trips take flight at 7.57am and 3.05pm from Charlotte. Flights between the two destinations take just under two hours.
