Delta offers fliers JFK sale

Delta Air Lines has announced a fare sale for all customers flying into, out of, or connecting through John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

The sale is valid on all travel involving the New York airport, including international destinations. Tickets must be purchased by May 31 for international flights and June 7 for domestic travel.

Sample one-way fares, based on a round-trip purchase, include Washington Dulles for $59, Cleveland for $69 (both to/from JFK), and Buffalo to Manchester in England for $359.

Delta's service from JFK has expanded recently. Earlier this month the airline announced its intention to develop its Delta Connection service to include an additional 14 destinations and increase frequencies. The airline has also recently added flights to Dublin and Shannon in Ireland and Budapest in Hungary.

Passengers who are members of the airline's frequent-flier program, SkyMiles, can also earn 1,000 bonus miles for each round-trip purchased at Delta's Web site.
