Celebrate with the celebs: US Airways’ Venice deal

Ever wanted to rub elbows with international film glitterati, get up close and personal with your favorite celebrities? This could be your chance.

For as little as $1,260 US Airways will fly you to and from the Venice Film Festival (as in Venice, Italy, not Venice, California). That’s the price of round-trip passage ‘twixt either New York or Philadelphia (PHL) and Venice’s (VCE) Marco Polo Airport

To take advantage of the offer, you’ll have to purchase at least 21 days in advance. Might want to book now, because the Festival runs from August 30 through September 9. You’ll also have to stay over a first Sunday, and if you decide to change that reservation there’s a $200 fee. As with virtually all quoted discount airfares, taxes and fees are not included.
