Allegiant expands several Vegas routes
Low-cost airline Allegiant Air has announced the expansion of several routes from its Las Vegas hub due to rising demand.
Services from the Nevada hotspot to benefit from more frequent flights include Bismarck, North Dakota; Cedar Rapids and Des Moines in Iowa; Peoria, Illinois; Billings and Missoula in Montana; Pasco, Washington; Wichita, Kansas; and Fort Collins/Loveland in Colorado.
The new flights will begin from the start of October onwards, with the last of the additional services being added to schedules in December.
The routes will be expanded by between one and two flights per week, making all of the schedules at least four-times weekly services. Peoria will become a daily affair with the addition of Tuesday morning flights from Illinois, returning in the evening.
In addition to expanding year-round offerings, Allegiant will also be providing passengers with new seasonal services over the winter holiday season from Pasco and Fort Collins on Saturday and Wichita on Tuesday.
To promote the new routes and additional flights on the popular services Allegiant is offering, the airline is also running a "Fly Free to Vegas" offer. If you buy an air and hotel package through Allegiant, the second air fare is free when booking before August 23.
