Delta private jet offers flexi membership

The private jet hire arm of Delta Air Lines, Delta AirElite Business Jets, has launched a new membership program, which the airline says will increase "choice and flexibility".

For those lucky enough to have the opportunity to hire a jet, Delta is partnering with Bombardier Flexjet to issue the Flexjet 25 card.

The card allows members to choose and purchase various blocks of time, either 25, 30, or 35 flight hours in their choice of plane, for a specified number of days per year to fly (275, 325, 355, or 365).

Customers with a Flexjet 25 card can select from a Learjet 45, a Learjet 60, or the Challenger 604 to use for their business travel and gives customers access to the program without making a long-term commitment or a large capital investment.

Michael B Green, President and CEO of Delta AirElite, said: "The Flexjet 25 jet card is the perfect solution for those seeking an aircraft type-specific membership program to meet their individual needs.

"We are pleased to continue our partnership with Bombardier Flexjet and proud that we are able to offer our customers such a flexible solution," Green added.
