More delicious deals from Southwest
It has been a very, very long time since we’ve seen an airline seat sell for $29. That’s the price of passage aboard discount airline Southwest from Islip Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) to Baltimore/Washington (BWI).
As with all the discount airfares we’re about to quote, ISP to BWI is a one-way rate, and is not pegged to a round-trip purchase. You do, however, have to buy 14 days in advance. Taxes and fees aren’t included in these rates, and seats are subject to availability.
While the discount airline is selling Islip to Baltimore/Washington for a mere $29, it is offering a slew of longer-range routes for fares ranging from $39 to $159.
The $79 offerings are as follows:
- Portland, OR (PDX) to Oakland (OAK)
- Spokane (GEG) to Reno/Lake Tahoe (RNO)
- Seattle/Tacoma (SEA) to Salt Lake City (SLC)
- Austin (AUS) to El Paso (ELP)
- Lubbock (LBB) to San Antonio (SAT)
- Houston Hobby (HOU) to Oklahoma City (OKC)
- Corpus Christi (CRP) to Little Rock (LIT)
- Amarillo (AMA) to Tulsa (TUL)
- Houston Hobby to Denver (DEN)
Don’t mind paying $10 more? Other opportunities open up. $89 will take you from Southwest’s Houston Hobby focus city (with a superb new airside terminal) to:
- Phoenix (PHX)
- Albuquerque (ABQ)
- Las Vegas (LAS)
- Chicago Midway (MDW)
- Fort Lauderdale (FLL)
- Fort Myers (RSW)
- Orlando (MCO)
- Tampa (TPA)
- Baltimore/Washington (BWI)
- Jacksonville (JAX)
- West Palm Beach (PBI)
- Washington Dulles (IAD) (starts October 5)
A mere $99 will pay for your sojourn between Houston and either Los Angeles (LAX), Oakland (OAK), or Philadelphia (PHL).
