AirTran’s fabulous Florida fares
Florida’s a state that never seems to fall from fashion, even in the fall. To keep folks flowing south, discount airline AirTran Airways is putting all of its Sunshine State cities on sale, with discount airfares starting as low as $49.
To land one of these deals you’ll have to book and buy by October 5. You’ll be able to travel through November 15 with the exception of the days just preceding, and following, Thanksgiving. That would be November 21 through 28.
None of the one-way discount airfares we’re about to quote requires a round-trip purchase, or a Saturday-night stay. Seats, however, are limited; and neither taxes nor fees are included in the price. They’re extra.
The cheapest seats are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Those are the ones we’ll quote here. Slightly higher discount airfares can be had for travel on peak days (Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays).
