Delta boosts in-flight entertainment
Coast-to-coast travel from Delta Air Lines has undergone a distinct overhaul with the introduction of a new in-flight entertainment standard.
Passengers in the first and main cabins can look forward to leather seats as well as state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment systems, making Delta the first U.S. carrier to offer such a service in two classes.
On-demand digital video will be found in each seatback as part of Delta's attempt to make its journeys as enjoyable as possible and plans are now underway to make the necessary aircraft alterations.
Delta will initially reconfigure 48 Boeing 757 aircraft from its former low-fare service Song, allowing its future customers to enjoy TV services, movies, music, video games, and a variety of other multimedia offerings.
America's fastest-growing international carrier, Delta added more than 50 new international routes last year and now offers flights to 470 destinations in 96 countries.
