go! increases Hawaii connections
A new airline starting inter-island service in Hawaii has established a codeshare agreement with go! , Mesa Air's carrier in the Aloha state.
Mokulele Airlines will fly new services under the go!Express brand to allow customers to earn frequent-flier miles on the flights.
The new airline's fleet of Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft will be adorned with the go!Express livery and will fly to the surrounding islands of Kapalua, Lanai, and Molokai from the main Hawaiian island of Honolulu.
All three of these new destinations will be new to go!'s schedule and will complement the existing service to the islands of Lihue, Kahului, Kona, and Hilo.
"I am excited by the great opportunities this partnership will bring to the smaller communities of Hawaii," said Bill Boyer, CEO of Mokulele Airlines.
"As a Hawaii company, we are delighted with the opportunity to further develop our passenger business.
"Our expansion will create many new jobs in the local communities and make travel more convenient and less expensive for kamaaina and visitors."
