JetBlue joins Delta in Amex partnership
JetBlue Airways has mirrored Delta Air Lines in offering a credit card link-up with American Express for customers to gain special discounts on air travel.
Small business customers who hold a JetBlue Business Card from Amex will receive an automatic five percent discount on all JetBlue flights and all holders of any other Amex Business Card will get three percent off the cost of their air fare with the carrier.
JetBlue is the latest signatory to such an agreement with OPEN Savings, and the good news for consumers is that the offer has no time-limit or expiry date and is good for as long as the agreement is in place.
Tim Claydon, Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for the airline, said it was "a great way…to add value for small business owners who depend on JetBlue for travel" and "a meaningful way to show JetBlue's commitment to [its] business customers".
The JetBlue Business Card is in addition to the JetBlue Card, which is another airline-oriented credit-card partnership offering discounts to any Amex customers and JetBlue frequent fliers, not just business patrons.
