Tucson is the oldest city in the Grand Canyon State, nicknamed "The Old Pueblo", and it becomes the second Arizonan city to accept flights from JetBlue, in addition to the state capital, Phoenix.
Flights from New York to Tucson are nonstop and depart daily from New York-JFK at 8pm, landing in Tucson at 10.30pm. The return leg is an overnight flight, leaving Arizona at 11.30pm and touching down in the north-east at 7.15am. All times quoted are local to the destination.
As part of its new route launch, JetBlue is offering customers the chance to purchase tickets between New York and Tucson for $129 each-way, excluding taxes and additional fees. The special fare is good for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, subject to a 14-day advance purchase, and travel must be completed by November 15.
Regular fares between the two cities will range from $149 to $399 each-way.
