Jump on this Joplin deal

You’d be hard-pressed to find a more all-American town than Joplin, MO. Mesa Airlines’ Air Midwest subsidiary is about to make it easier to fly to Joplin – and do it on the cheap - from $148, round-trip.

That’s the introductory fare between Joplin (JLN) and Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW). Twice-daily service on the route begins October 5. The discount airfare is good from October 5 through November 15, just before the start of the Thanksgiving rush. To take advantage of this deal, you’ve got to purchase by September 10. Seats are limited, and this discount airfare includes neither taxes nor fees.

When Air Midwest inaugurates Joplin service, the Missouri city will have five Mesa flights per day: two to Dallas/Fort Worth, and a three to Kansas City (MCI). Mesa makes the MCI – JLN jaunts under the US Airways Express banner.

The bottom line for travelers is decent discounts and better air service to southwest Missouri, a part of the country that can use both.
