Aeromexico to increase Rio Grande crossing

Mexico's largest airline Aeromexico is to introduce further passage between Central America and Texas with an extension of its direct flights from Mexico City to San Antonio.

The nonstopper will expand operations from a weekly flight to a daily service from November 16.

Flights will depart Mexico City at 10.50am each day, with return flights leaving San Antonio at 2pm. Flight duration in both directions is two hours.

"We are very excited to be able to significantly increase our service from San Antonio soon after inaugurating flights in May," said Carlos De Uriarte, Aeromexico's Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for the U.S. Division.

"The daily service to our Mexico City hub will provide great access for both business and leisure travelers to Mexico's business centers, our wonderful colonial cities and exciting beach destinations such as Cancun, Leon/El Bajio and many more."
