Alaska Airlines' Positively Fantastic Deals

Wintertime is anything but high season for travel to, and especially within, Alaska. That’s why you’ll want to do some planning ahead and book these discount airfares for next season. Do that, and Alaska Airlines offers some PFDs – Positively Fantastic Deals – with some one-way intra-Alaskan travel in the $75 range.

That’s the price of passage from the popular cruise port, and state capital, of Juneau (JUN) to Sitka (SIT).

Alaska Airlines is also putting Anchorage (ANC) to Fairbanks (FAI) on sale too, with a one-way rate of $86.

Juneau to Sitka , and Anchorage to Fairbanks are just a couple of routes where Alaska is applying its PFDs. The carrier’s Web site lays them all out for you.

To take advantage of these discount airfares, you’ll have to plan ahead and purchase no later than November 2. Do that and you’ll be able to fly on these Positively Fantastic Deals through September 6, 2007. These tickets are non-transferable, and non-refundable. Be sure to buy at least 14 days prior to the day you plan to fly. Seats are limited.

Another proviso: discounted airfares are not good for travel to or from Prudhoe Bay, or Gustavas.
