American adds China sojourns to vacation package
American Airlines Vacations has added several new vacation packages and travel options to its offerings for Chinese destinations.
The flag-carrier offers daily flights direct to the Far East from Chicago. The nonstop flights from the Midwest land in China's commercial and financial center - Shanghai.
To accommodate customers upon their arrival, American Airlines Vacations has added several new hotels to its options package, including The Westin, St Regis Hotel, Pudong Shangri-La, the Crowne Plaza, and the Rendezvous Merry Hotel.
In order to boost traffic on the route, American is offering bonus miles for customers booking travel as part of the new Shanghai packages before March 31, 2007.
A bonus of 10,000 miles will be added to any frequent-flier's AAdvantage account when they book airline tickets to the Chinese city by the deadline date and a further 1,000 miles can be garnered by booking travel online at www.aavacations.com.
