American unveils fall Europe sale
For those looking to travel across the Atlantic to visit Europe this fall, American Airlines could be just the ticket, with a sale encompassing all nine of its destinations on that continent.
American flies direct to London and Manchester in England; Dublin and Shannon in Ireland; Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France; Frankfurt, Germany; Madrid, Spain; and Zurich, Switzerland.
Flights to all of these cities are on sale through American's Web site, AA.com, with booking available through October 31. Travel must begin between November 1 and December 14 and be completed by January 13, 2007.
Examples of the sort of fares available include Boston to London Heathrow from $349; from either of American's New York airports, Kennedy or LaGuardia, to Paris for $369; or Miami International to Madrid for $499. All fares are for round-trip, off-peak travel, excluding taxes.
As an extra incentive for booking travel with American this fall, the airline has also announced a Fall Sale Sweepstakes when booking through the Web site.
Up to three entries are allowed per customer and prizes include three-night vacation getaways for two to Ireland, Brussels and Zurich.
