Cathay’s wondrous West Coast to Hong Kong deals
Hands down, Hong Kong (HKG) is one of the two or three most exciting cities on the planet. Sea, skyscrapers, and Asian culture combine to produce a heady brew. I never tire of the place. You won’t either, not with discount airfares like this: $674, round-trip.
That’s the price of there-and-back passage on Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong’s classy flag carrier. Book CX (that’s the carrier’s code) Flight 885. It departs LAX at 1:20pm, and arrives in Hong Kong the following evening.
To get in on this deep discount airfare, you’ll have to book, buy, and fly by November 30. There is no minimum stay entailed, but you cannot remain in the former British Crown Colony longer than 30 days – not at this fare anyhow. The $674 rate allows you to travel on the off-peak days of Monday through Thursday.
As you might imagine, seats at this price are limited. The offer is good through November 30 or until discounted seats are deemed to be sold out. That makes it all the more imperative to book fast.
Neither taxes nor fees are included in this deal, but you can rack up considerable Asia Miles on the flight even at this discount airfare. Not all carriers allow frequent flier mileage accrual when they offer their lowest fares. That makes this deal all the sweeter.
