US Airways offers Hurricane Paul relief

US Airways has announced that it will temporarily waive any reservation change fees applicable for passengers whose travel has been disrupted by Hurricane Paul.

The weather system has affected several routes flying into and out of Mexican cities on the Baja California peninsula, including two of US Airways' more popular destinations, Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlan.

As a result, the airline has announced it will be waiving ticket change fees for customers flying on any US Airways or US Airways codeshare flights through October 25.

Displaced customers will be permitted to reschedule travel on any US Airways flight up to seven days after their original booking. Alternatively, a flight can be arranged on another airline if a US Airways departure is not available within four hours of their booked flight.

If required, passengers who are unable to rearrange travel with US Airways can also apply for a full refund of their ticket price.
