Members of United Airlines' Mileage Plus frequent-flier program can earn a free ticket for travel on the carrier by flying three qualifying round-trips over the next two-and-a-half months.

Mileage Plus passengers will earn 5,000 bonus miles for completing one qualifying round-trip, 10,000 miles for completing two, or 25,000 miles for traveling on three round-trip United, United Express, or Ted flights before January 31, 2007.

By flying three qualifying trips in this period (the first must be completed by December 31), passengers will collect enough miles to redeem them for a Saver Award ticket.

"We want to show our customers how much their business means to us by offering them this excellent opportunity to earn enough extra miles for an award ticket during one of the most popular travel seasons," said David Keenan, Managing Director of the Mileage Plus program.

United is one of the largest airlines in the U.S. and flies more than 3,700 flights per day to domestic and international destinations. It is also a member of the world's largest airline affiliate body, the Star Alliance.
