$54 flights to the entertainment capital
Book by March 3: to mark the fifth anniversary of a nonstop direct jet service between Las Vegas and Colorado Springs, vacation airline Allegiant Air is selling flights for $54 each way.
The McCarran International-based airline inaugurated a link between the western cities on St Valentine's Day in 2002, and customers can travel through August 8.
Tickets are limited and must be booked at least one week in advance of travel. The $54 fare does not include taxes and extras.
Maurice J. Gallagher, President and Chief Executive of Allegiant, said: "We are very pleased with the performance of the Colorado Springs community over the last five years.
"We look forward to a continued successful relationship between Allegiant, the Colorado Springs Airport, local communities, travel agents and all of our customers."
Package deals, including flights and a stay in a Las Vegas hotel, are available via the carrier's Web site.
