AirTran fares from $39 until April 10
Book by 11:59pm (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, April 10: Low-cost carrier AirTran Airways has launched a spring fare sale, with one-way flights from $39 (excluding taxes and fees).
Offpeak journeys (on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays) between Minneapolis/St Paul and Chicago Midway start at $39, the cheapest deal in the sale. Flights are available for $49 between Atlanta and Savannah; Boston and Akron; Boston and Newport; as well as Rochester and Baltimore/Washington.
Peak fares (fly Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays) are still as low as $59 in each direction between AirTran's destinations. Journeys between Charleston and Atlanta, for instance, start at £59 whatever time the flight is taken.
Other bargains include New York LaGuardia to Akron from $59; Detroit to Fort Lauderdale for upwards of $69; Boston to Chicago Midway from $69; Atlanta to New York LaGuardia from $89; and Baltimore/Washington to Tampa from $79 in each direction.
Travel by October 3 and book at least 14 days in advance. There is no need to book a round-trip or stay over a Saturday night.
AirTran Airways offers more than 700 daily flights to 56 destinations across the nation. It has the youngest all-Boeing fleet in the US.

This sale ended just before midnight last night (Tuesday, April 10). AirTran Airways is not running a sale at present, but Cheap Flight News will post its next sale as soon as it launches.
