Earn HawaiianMiles with Continental
Frequent fliers with Hawaiian Airlines can now earn air miles by flying on Continental Airlines' domestic route network, as part of a new code-sharing agreement.
Similarly, members of the OnePass loyalty program can pick up miles when island hopping with the Honolulu-based carrier.
The partnership also allows passengers to book flights with both airlines on one itinerary, with seamless connections and no need to check in or deposit luggage more than once.
"Our frequent fliers have unrestricted access to earn all the miles they want flying to the US on Continental that can be used for free flights on Hawaiian," said Rick Peterson, Hawaiian Airlines' Vice-President of E-commerce.
Access to Ohio's Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and beyond from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Phoenix with Continental would be a major boost to HawaiianMiles members, he added.
In return, loyal Continental fliers can earn 500 OnePass miles for each inter-island trip they make with Hawaiian.
The 50th state's largest airline already has code-sharing agreements with American Airlines, Northwest Airlines, US Airways, Korean Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, and Australia-based Virgin Blue.
