Aussie adventure? Qantas' deals start at $898
Sure, it's a long trip, one of the longest air journeys on earth, but it's worth it. Australia is an attitude, a way of life: laid back, friendly folks and breathtaking scenery. Qantas can get you there from the United States for less than you'd imagine. The wide-ranging Australian flag carrier is selling seats Down Under from $898 round-trip.
Qantas is offering discount airfares to Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Brisbane (BNE), and Cairns (CNS) from a number of US cities. Some of these flights will be code-share connections, via either American Airlines or Alaska Airlines.
There are some important dates here you'll want to note. First, the expiration date for the deal. Book and buy by May 31. Then, travel outbound by May 29, or between August 2 and August 31.
All the discount airfares we're about to quote are round-trip. However, neither taxes nor fees are included. They're extra. Here's a sampling of the savings Qantas is offering:
