Hungry? Try PIT's spiffed-up T.G.I. Friday's

By now you know that airlines don't serve much food anymore especially in the back of the airplane. However, airports do, for an increasingly demanding market. Pittsburgh International (PIT) is a case in point. Pittsburgh is still a focus city for US Airways despite the fact that the airline cut back on operations at the Western Pennsylvania airport a few years back.

Now, there is word that Pittsburgh's T.G.I. Friday's has undergone a makeover. Look for a slew of new interior and exterior changes, an overall appetizing appearance to go along with the revamped menu.

Fliers on the go don't often want large portions and they never want big prices. To that end, the Pittsburgh T.G.I. Friday's sports a “Right Portion - Right Price” menu that offers folks more choice at a price that will still let you buy a drink on the airplane.

You'll find the restaurants in two locations in the AIRMALL® at Pittsburgh: the Center Core of Concourse A, or out on Concourse D.

Cheap Flight News’ suggestion for a quick meal on the fly is the Bistro Sirloin Salad.
