American’s Canadian discounts, from $269

Considering a transborder sojourn this summer? Before you book, look at what American Airlines is offering on its Web site. It could save you a bundle. The nation’s largest airline is selling round-trip discount airfares between the United States and its northern neighbor for as little as $269.

To land one of these discount airfares you’ll have to do a seven-day advance purchase. These fares are good through June 30, and are valid for passage on off-peak days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Neither taxes nor fees are included in the round-trip prices quoted below. They’re going to cost extra.
