JetBlue offers $59 fares to Ponce
Low-cost airline JetBlue has announced that it plans to offer nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale and Ponce, Puerto Rico.
The service will begin on November 5, with introductory fares of $59 each way.
The daily flights will depart Florida at 11:55pm, landing in Puerto Rico at 3:25pm, while the return leg will take off from Ponce at 4:35am and touch down in Fort Lauderdale at 6:20am.
Ponce is JetBlue's 12th international destination served from Fort Lauderdale, and the new service is the only nonstop service between south Florida and the town.
To take advantage of the $59 one-way introductory fare, passengers must book by 11:59pm (Mountain Time) on August 8, for travel between November 5 and December 10. November 16-30 are blackout dates.

"Customers have come to prefer JetBlue for our in-flight entertainment, generous name-brand snacks, and award-winning customer service - all for one low price. We invite you to experience our low fares and lots of frills on our first-ever service between Fort Lauderdale and the Caribbean."
Regular fares range from $99 to $299.
The $59 fare does not include Passenger Facility Charges (up to $9 each way) September 11 security fees (up to $5 each way) and Federal Segment Tax of $3.40 per domestic segment.
