Delta Air Lines is to begin a new service between Boston Logan International Airport and Philadelphia International.

From November 5, Delta Connection carrier Comair will offer four daily flights between the two Northeast cities.

Services will leave Massachusetts at 7am, 11am, 3pm, and 6pm, touching down in Pennsylvania at 8:30am, 12:28pm, 4:30pm, and 7:35pm, respectively.

The return services leave Philadelphia at 7am, 9am, 1pm, and 5pm, landing in Boston around 90 minutes later.

Bob Corteylou, Delta Air Lines' Senior Vice-President of Network Planning, commented: "We are pleased to continue to expand our reach in the Northeast, offering our customers in Boston and Philadelphia more options and convenience when traveling for business or pleasure.

"As Boston's largest carrier in terms of destinations, we are thrilled to further expand our network with the inauguration of service to Philadelphia," he added.

Comair recently announced a service between Boston and Louisville, KY.
