United Airlines teams with Joffrey Ballet
United Airlines has announced an exclusive partnership with Chicago's Joffrey Ballet.
The carrier is to serve as the ballet company's official airline for the 2007/2008 season, as it prepares to establish a permanent headquarters in downtown Chicago.
Rosemary Moore, United Airlines Senior Vice-President of Corporate and Government Affairs, said: "We are delighted to fly a true gem of Chicago's arts community to cities around the world.
"With United's support, The Joffrey Ballet will comfortably fly around the world and provide our customers with a taste of what this world-class ballet has to offer."
Moore's sentiments were echoed by Jon Teeuwissen, Executive Director of The Joffrey Ballet, who commented: "This partnership brings together two of the world's most innovative brands."
He added: "United and Joffrey are both synonymous with unparalleled quality and commitment to excellence. We are thrilled to be joining together with our hometown airline."
United Airlines operates over 3,600 flights every day, to more than 200 domestic and international destinations.
