Bravo Business Class! UA's European deals

The travel windows on this discount airfare sale are tight, but the rewards are worth it - passage up front, in either United Airlines’, or Star Alliance partner Lufthansa’s Business Class. The destination is Europe, and one-way discount airfares start as low as $597.

You'll have to fly outbound on these discount airfares November 18 through 24, and return November 22 through 24, or November 27 through 28. This period of time, of course, is around Thanksgiving, a time when business travel is diminished. United wants to fill premium seats during slack times, and is willing to discount them dramatically to do it.

You'll have to make a 30-day advance purchase, and the one-way discount airfares quoted here entail a round-trip purchase. Neither taxes nor fees are included.

Here's a sampling of the deals UA and LH (the codes for United and Lufthansa respectively) are offering across the Atlantic:

- Boston (BOS) to Brussels (BRU) $647

- Charlotte (CLT) to Frankfurt (FRA) $725

- Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to Madrid (MAD) $797

- Denver (DEN) to Amsterdam (AMS) $797

- Los Angeles (LAX) to Rome (FCO) $1,047

- New York City to Amsterdam (AMS) $597

- New York City to London Heathrow (LHR) $597

- Philadelphia (PHL) to Munich (MUC) $625

- Portland, OR (PDX) to London Heathrow $997

- San Francisco (SFO) to Paris Charles De Gaulle (CDG) $1,047

- Washington, DC Dulles (IAD) to Dublin (DUB) $697

While the service is Business Class, many of the routes are not nonstop. They entail a connection.
