Horizon Air launches nonstop Portland-Santa Rosa service

Horizon Air has introduced a new nonstop service from Portland to Santa Rosa in California. The daily service commenced on Sunday (October 28), with the new route leaving Portland at 2:20pm and touching down in Sonoma County at 4:10pm.

On the return service, flights leave Santa Rosa at 4:40pm and arrive in Portland at 6:30pm.

Dan Russo, Horizon's Director of Marketing and Communications, said that the route will appeal to both business travelers and tourists seeking breaks in the popular wine region. "Horizon's new nonstop service will make it easier to conduct business between the greater Portland/Vancouver area and Sonoma County while expanding tourism between these two popular vacation regions."

Horizon currently offers three flights a day from Santa Rosa to Los Angeles, and one to Seattle.
