MAXjet adds new flights to London

Transatlantic airline MAXjet Airways is to increase the number of flights it offers to London in the United Kingdom.

A new Saturday service between New York John F Kennedy and London Stansted will be introduced on October 20, and additional flights from Las Vegas will be added on December 5.

December will also see one extra flight a week operated between Los Angeles and London, with the new Wednesday service taking the number of journeys operated between the two cities to five a week.

In February 2008, another Las Vegas to London flight will be introduced in addition to the Wednesday service commencing in December.

From March 2008, MAXjet will run ten flights each week between New York JFK and London, the result of planned second services on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.

Bill Stockbridge, Chief Executive of MAXjet, said: "This change builds on MAXjet's core strengths as we seek increased opportunities to serve the growing business traffic.

"MAXjet customers have made it clear to us that they need more frequent service between London Stansted and Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York."
