Happy holidays! NWA seasonal sale

Before you think it's too late in the season to grab a great discount airfare for the holidays, consider what Northwest Airlines (NWA) is offering. The carrier is selling seats as low as $56.

To get one of these discount airfares, buy your ticket online by November 21. Then, fly November 15 through November 28; or December 13 through January 7, 2008. While the quotes are one-way, you'll have to make a round-trip purchase to land these airfares, and neither taxes nor fees are included. A seven-day advance purchase is entailed.

As with all airline fare sales, dates control the discounts. The rates quoted here are for what Northwest calls “Super Off-Peak Days” - November 19, 22, 23, and 28 as well as December 17 and 24.
