WestJet to offer Vegas-Canada service

Low-cost airline WestJet is to start a new seasonal service between British Columbia, Canada, and Las Vegas on January 17, 2008.

The nonstop flights will run until April (2008) and discount prices of $149 (excluding taxes and surcharges) are available on bookings made before Wednesday, November 7, for travel between January 17 and February 29, 2008.

Passengers will be able to depart Kelowna on Thursdays and Sundays at 10pm, arriving in Las Vegas at 12:29am. Return flights will depart Las Vegas on Mondays and Fridays at 2am, and touch down in Canada at 4:45am.

Bob Cummings, WestJet Executive Vice-President of Guest Experience and Marketing, commented: "We are pleased to offer new nonstop service from Kelowna to Las Vegas to meet the demand of travelers who want to experience the fun and friendly atmosphere of this famous city."
