Aircraft problems cause delays for Skybus
Discount carrier Skybus canceled ten flights over Christmas following problems with two aircraft.
Bob Tenebaum, Spokesperson for the airline, said that a door problem on one plane and a damaged fuselage on another led to the cancellations. Maintenance work is ongoing, though the Skybus representative expects repairs to be complete this morning with flights running as usual later today.
However, he told the Associated Press that if work is not complete, further delays will be likely on routes from Columbus to Milwaukee and Fort Lauderdale among others.
On Christmas Day, Skybus canceled eight flights in total, including the service from Columbus to Bellingham, which is due to be suspended on January 5.
Another flight to Bellingham was canceled yesterday, alongside a service to Fort Lauderdale.

I am one and done with Skybus. Schedule changes (cancelations), paying twice for baggage, paying for priority and not getting it. Stranded passengers not being booked on other airlines and only refunded for the price of the ticket paid, not for a new ticket, hotel or car rental. Thanks but no thanks.
