Low-cost carrier Skybus will launch new flights to Chicago, Philadelphia and Toronto in March. The airline has announced that it will add a service from Columbus to New Castle Airport, located 35 miles from Philadelphia, on March 7.
Flights to Toronto via Niagara Falls International Airport will begin on April 1, when a second daily nonstop flight to Milwaukee will be added.
A second flight will also be added from Greensboro to Fort Lauderdale alongside a service to Gary/Chicago International Airport from the airline's base at Piedmont International Airport in North Carolina.
Bill Diffenderffer, Chief Executive of Skybus, said: "We're excited to add Philadelphia, Toronto and Chicago to our list of great destinations.
"And we're excited to offer our passengers in these markets our unique combination of nonstop flights, less-congested airports and outrageously low fares."
Tickets for the new routes went on sale earlier this week and as per Skybus' usual policy, ten seats on every scheduled flight carry a price tag of $10 (excluding taxes and fees of up to $8, and September 11 Security Fee of $2.50. Limited availability per flight.)
