Delta adds flight to Arcata-Eureka Airport

A new service from Salt Lake City to Arcata-Eureka Airport will be added by Delta Air Lines in June. This will be Delta's first nonstop service between the two cities and has been added to accommodate passengers heading to Redwood National Park for summer vacations.

Flights will operate twice daily, leaving Salt Lake City at 11:20am and 8:55pm. Return services will depart Arcata-Eureka at 6:25am and 12:45pm (all times are local).

To mark the new service, one-way fares between Arcata-Eureka and a selection of U.S. airports will be reduced. Flights to Salt Lake City start at $109 one-way and services to Denver are down to $149. All reduced fares are based on a round-trip journey and do not include taxes or fees.

Bob Cortelyou, Senior Vice-President of Network Planning at Delta, said: "We look forward to offering our customers the opportunity to visit the stunning coastline of Northern California or to explore the majestic redwood trees in one of America's greatest national parks."

Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines will operate the service using a 50-seat Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft.
