Eos to EWR - new London option

There are lots of ways to fly from the New York metro area to Greater London, and soon there will be another. Upscale Eos Airlines intends to launch nonstop service from Newark Liberty International (EWR) to London Stansted on May 5. Currently, no other carriers fly from Newark to Stansted, the relatively uncrowded London airport 34 miles northeast of the city.

Stansted may be far from the city, but it's accessible. Train service is fast and efficient, linking STN with London with decent frequency.

Eos is an all-premium class outfit, a carrier that has fitted its fleet of 757 narrowbodies with 48 seats, ensconcing flyers in 6'6” fully horizontal, lie-flat seats for the journey across The Pond.

The carrier has offered nonstop service from New York Kennedy (JFK) to London Stansted since October 2005, attributing its growth to word-of-mouth buzz generated by its service-intensive product.
