New airline info boards at Seattle Airport Hilton

Passengers traveling from Seattle Tacoma International Airport will be able to keep track of departures before leaving their hotel as part of a new initiative.

FlyteBoard airline information screens have been installed at the Doubletree Hotel Seattle Airport and the Hilton Seattle Airport and Conference Center.

The flat-screen digital signs provide real-time updates on delays and have already proved popular with passengers and flight crews who use the hotels.

Anne Santistevan, Director of Business Development at the Doubletree and Hilton Seattle Airport properties, commented: "We serve thousands of guests at our two large airport hotels and understand that air travel today is work.

She added that the FlyteBoard technology has helped "the large number of guests who visit our properties gain control of their traveling lives again".

Night staff at the hotels also use the boards to keep track of delays and cancellations, offering airlines available rooms in the event of any over-night schedule changes.
