Canadian airports approve Clear Bag System

The carry-on baggage firm 311 Travel Bag has announced that airline passengers will now be able to use its Clear Bag System when traveling through Canadian airports.

Approval for the bags has been granted by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA).

This means that passengers can carry liquids, gels and aerosols through pre-board security checkpoints using the Clear Bag System instead of standard zip-lock bags. Linda Padgett-Stinson, President at 311 Travel Bag, said: "We are proud that our product is now recognized and accepted in Canada.

"This confirmation gives Canadian travelers the confidence to travel safely and securely under Transport Canada regulations without giving up their independence."

The bags are made of transparent vinyl and have a zipper opening, as well as reusable see-through containers for toiletries.
